He began his career over 30 years ago, when he joined The Canadian Armed Forces, where it wasn't long before his talent and understanding of accounting was apparent. He started in Radio Communications and through an ill fated accident, he had to change career paths. The Canadian Armed Forces guided his career, where he was trained to become a Forensic Accountant.
With a career spanning over a decade in the military, Robert became restless with his Rank and made the decision to leave the military in 1986 and began life as a civilian. The Armed Forces loss, but a gain for the public.
